Chair and Members
The Federal Minister of Finance and the chair of the Länder Finance Minister Conference co-chair the Stability Council.
The chairs alternate annually, halfway through the year. From 1 July 2023 to 30 June 2024, it is the turn of the chair of the Länder Finance Minister Conference to chair the meetings of the Stability Council. Following that, the Federal Minister of Finance will then assume the chair of the Stability Council for one year.
Every member nominates a permanent representative.
